How to Add an Inventory Item
An Inventory Item is a central part in InventoCloud and creating one is essential to use the full power of the software.
Before we show you how to add an item, we have to explain, what the difference between an inventory item and an consumable item:
- A consumable item is a part of your inventory, which has a quantity, like screws, food or cement.
- An inventory item is the part of your inventory which occurs only one. Like a laptop with a specific material number

Dashboard Navigation
Step 1
After Login (or Registration) the Dashboard will appear. From there you will have two options to create the Inventory Item:

Option 1
The fast one
In the top bar use the shortkeys to directly jump to the Form

Option 2
The longer one
- Navigate in the sidebar to Warehouse Management
- Click on Inventory
- On the right top click on add new

Add an Item
Last Step
Add all your information to the item and scroll down to the bottom. Click on Save Item and you will be redirected to the invetory overview.
